HONG KONG. LMSH 1907. Authorized to practice July 8, 1908. Public Dispensary, Eastern 1908. Authorized medical practitioner to sign medical certificates of death 1908.

Siblings: 1. Kwan King-leung 關景良 [confirmation required].

[2] LMSH was the qualification awarded to graduates of the Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese HKCMC (1887-1912). Holders of LMSH were not authorized to practice as private practitioners until July 8, 1908 [a]. From that day on they were permitted to practice as "exempted persons", but not to be listed in the Medical Register and not be addressed officially as "Dr".
[a] There were hospital appointments, more particularly at missionary or charitable hospitals, prior to 1908. For instance, Kwan King-leung 關景良, LMSH 1893, was permitted to practice at the Alice Memorial Hospital 1893

Wartime whereabouts unknown.

Holder of Certificate of Exemption (one of the first 13 listed in the Government Gazette 1915) under the Dentistry Ordinance, 1914 [1] to practice dentistry September 20, 1915 - 1940. Private practitioner nlt.1905 - 1940, address: #83 Queen's Road Central 1937.

[1] Certificates of Exemption were issued to dental practitioners who lacked the academic qualifications recognized by the Dental Board (essentially the General Medical Council in UK) to qualify to register. Generally speaking, only qualifications awarded by institutions located on the Britain Isles or in British Overseas Territories were recognized.

[1] Both the medical school and the association were founded by Krieg's compatriot, and colleague in Hong Kong, Erich Hermann Paulun 埃里希.寶隆, who was a registered medical practitioner in Hong Kong between 1896 and 1898.
