b. June 11, 1841, Kincardineshire, Scotland – d. October 8, 1866, Hong Kong. MB, CM (Aber.) 1865. RN, Surgeon, HMS Icarus [1]; Hong Kong 1866; Hong Kong Government, Acting Assistant Surgeon February 10, 1866. Died of illness [h.a.], bur. Hong Kong Cemetery, Happy Valley.

s/o Alexander C. Campbell of Nigg, Kincardineshire.

[1] HMS Icarus (1858-1875), the 11-gun sloop, was commanded by captain Samuel Philip Townsend and was a part of the RN China station.
