Maberly Squire Esler (MRCS (Eng.) 1912; ex RAMC Captain; succeeded Robert Esler's practice and the position of Surgeon, London Metropolitan Police Force 1919).
[1] Erminda Rentoul Esler, b.1852, Manorcunningham, co. Donegal, Ireland - d.1924, was the daughter of the Rev. Alexander Buchan Rentoul and Erminda Chittick, and was educated at Nimes (France), at Berlin, and at Queens University, Belfast. In 1879, she graduated from the Royal University of Ireland. Published as E. Rentoul Esler, she was a famous novelist and short story writer.
